Mommy thoughts
Hello family and friends. Today I am home sick, thankfully not with morning sickness but with whatever my sweet co-workers decided to bring into the office. As I eat my nasty low sodium chicken noodle soup here’s what I am thinking. Jackson has been kicking so MUCH; I think he’s trying to find his way out already:) But we have a while just a little over 15 weeks to be exact!
I’m getting to the point where I go into his closet daily and just stare at the little clothes that we have for him. Wondering what he’ll look like, if he’ll let us sleep at night, and how much will he weigh when he’s born. If you look at me now you’d think, “he’ll be about an 11 pounder.” As his sweet daddy likes to tell me “i’m showing more than other women at 6 months.” Okay, so I eat! Does he want me to starve him?! :) But I digress…I’m very much looking forward to adding our first addition to the family. It’s already August! I can’t believe that. We have plans in the works for a baby shower so that will be super fun. I know that our little Jax is going to come into this world being very loved. Stay tuned for more rantings of a prego.
I like the fact that now I know what you are up to. Things are the same here, except I got to go to Waco this past weekend and had a great time, it was almost like being back in college 38 years ago. I like the name you picked for your son. Brandy’s sister Natalie and Matthew Clos are about to have (her and Matt’s first child) second child and the name they picked out is also Jackson. (This is Brandy and Natalie’s mom maiden name and their grandfather and uncle were called Jack) As always, Jennifer
Well, I got to come home for about 4 hours today and thought I would check out your blog. I was hoping to see some pictures but maybe I have not gone far enough on the site yet. I will be coming home for the weekend on the 15th and back to work on the 18th. The only thing good out of 2008 is Jackson. This will be great and just hope that I will get to see you all soon…hopefully before he is born but the way things are going just don’t know. Please know that I love you all even if I don’t call lilke I should. Cheryl
Whoops…too many words. Oh well…love ya’ll
Ranting of a Prego? Sounds like the title for a good book by Erin Cravey. Glad to hear that everything for the most part is going smooth and very happy for the 2 of you. Looking forward to some pictures :)
